Modeling Service

OiCOS offers a modeling service: we design a customised institutional system whose centre of gravity is governance, decision-making, and data analysis — so that decisions improve, and stay coherent with books and contracts.

Think of it as a modern compiler and programming language for business administration, economics, and management systems. You specify the organisation; the workbench compiles it into an executable twin that can sit beside — and certify — the systems you already run.

What you get

FocusMeaning
GovernanceRules, covenants, and smart contracts as typed logics that steer the institution
DecisionsAgents (human, forecast, or algorithmic) that act against explicit goals
Data / accountingVerifiable books and analytics — compliance-grade (e.g. IFRS / GAAP / HGB-style regimes), not slideware

The result is not another siloed ERP module. It is a compositional model of your organisation, embedded in the familiar enterprise stack.

Embedded in the enterprise family

Digital firms already run specialised systems. OiC.OS does not replace every screen on day one; it supplies the spine that keeps them consistent:

SystemUsual job
ERPFinance, controlling, materials, HR
CRM / SRMCustomer and supplier boundary
APSConstrained planning beyond classical MRP
WMS / TMSWarehouse and transport execution
MES / PLM / S&OP / BIShop floor, lifecycle, planning, reporting

On that substrate we map three coupled layers — see Magic Sauce:

GovContracts, compliance, covenantsSmart-contract logics — compliant by construction
DecAPS, pricing, credit, S&OP choicesModern agent systems linked to goals and books
AccERP FI/CO, stock and settlement streamsVerifiable accounting that must close

Agents, verification, smart contracts

  • Agents. Decisions run on contemporary agent architectures: human interfaces, econometric / demand-style learning, or verified algorithmic policies — not a stochastic black box as the institutional core. See Modeling detail — agents below and Workbench Help.
  • Verifiable software. Compliance regimes (accounting standards, audit trails, invariant checks) are properties of the run. See Verification & Bench.
  • Smart contracts. Governance is not a PDF beside the ERP — it is executable logic that constrains what may be decided and booked.

How a project runs

  1. Consulting — we establish the need with you (perimeter, goals, books, contracts, agents).
  2. Build — together we assemble the system in the workbench (the workflows shown under Help): model, simulate, audit, film, learn.
  3. Operate — a customised twin that improves decisions while governance and data stay coupled.

Optional stochasticScenarios where you choose them — never a substitute for typed Gov / Acc

Beyond BPMN / DMN (why a language, not only diagrams)

BPMN and DMN draw processes and decision tables. They lack first-class goals, composition, typed contracts, learning agents, money units, consistent multi-ledger books, and provable compilation from specification to running system. That gap is exactly what the OiC.OS language and workbench close — see Magic Sauce and the executive framing on institutional learning.

Institutional learning

Classical change management names a missing level: the organisation has no system that learns its own processes and rules. OiC.OS treats learning inside the rules, about the rules, and across agents — adjunctions as dynamics; equilibrium as the institution’s fixed point. Full note: Magic Sauce — adjunctions.
